Touby, Chait & Sicking, PL Participate in Speaking Engagement

Two of our founding attorneys, Mark Touby and Richard Chait, participated in the Executive Council Long Range Planning Retreat for the Workers’ Compensation Section of The Florida Bar. It was held this year in Charleston, South Carolina, on May 18th through May 20th. The event took place at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel & Suites in the Historic District of Charleston.

The Workers’ Compensation Section of The Florida Bar oversees the health and well-being of workers throughout Florida. Its objective is to address the issues that will confront the stakeholders in the Workers’ Compensation system regarding recent cases that have come out of the First District Court of Appeal and the Florida Supreme Court. This Section continues to offer informative Lunch and Learn webinars and produces The Workers’ Compensation Forum in collaboration with WCCP. This is one of the premier workers’ compensation educational conferences that continues to grow in attendance.

Mark Touby was quoted as saying of the event, “It is always a privilege to exchange ideas with the Executive Council for the betterment of the workers’ compensation system.”

Touby, Chait & Sicking, PL is a firm that specializes in helping people with workers’ compensation law. The regulations and statutes regarding workers’ comp can be complex and fluid, which can often tempt employers to avoid giving their employees the benefits they are entitled to by law. Our founding attorneys have dedicated their careers to protecting the rights of Florida workers, which is why they are fully engaged in the Florida community, including participating in the Executive Council retreat.
